On the 13th September 2000 the present management bought the company from Rentokil-Initial to create probably the largest independent contractor of its type in the UK. It has grown to it’s present size following the acquisition and integration of a number of companies that were leaders in their particular fields.


A deliberate policy of the company is to operate a streamlined management structure giving customers and employees direct access to the owners. This ensures that lines of communication are minimal enabling critical decisions to be made speedily.

As we are no longer restrained by corporate policy we can operate as free agents within the market place enabling us to offer the best available service to our clients.

Originally formed in 1968 we have a long pedigree of working on prestigious projects, national monuments, petrochemical and power generation plants and in such hostile environments as nuclear reactors and offshore. In addition we provide extensive support to the construction and engineering industries.

Through planned acquisitions and programme of growth the company now has 4 divisions:

Spread across some 40 strategic locations throughout the UK with an annual turnover in excess of ?60 million employing over 1500 people.

As one of the UK’s leading specialist we can from these 40 locations offer
Contract scaffolding, temporary weatherproof structures and roofing, passive fall protection, non-mechanical access equipment (hire & sales), insulation, protective coatings and decorative finishes, asbestos removal and passive fire protection.

Known throughout the industry for our innovations and technical ability we have been at the forefront of modern technology since the mid 80’s using:

This ensures that we are able to give a customer focused response to client’s requests with innovative and cost effective solutions promptly.

A safety culture is promoted throughout the company with monthly bulletins to all employees, safety conference and safety “Hot Line” to enable employees or others to report safety related issues anonymously.

Due to our standing within the appropriate industries we have held and do hold national and regional positions with many of the trade associations including NASC, TICA, ACAD, ECIA and CIG.

We are pre-qualified through Link-up, ConstructionLine and UVDB and prominent members of CrimeStoppers.
